Phone banking and canvassing this month is triply effective; we’ll be working on behalf of Evonne Hopkins (HD35), Bryan Cohn (HD32) and Terence Everitt (SD18) whose districts overlap!

We’re excited to support Terence in Senate District 18.  You’ll make calls to Democrats in Granville and Vance Counties.

Our goal is 1500 calls made or doors knocked!

ABOUT TERENCE

Terence Everitt is a father, husband, small business owner, and current Representative for House District 35, which is in northern Wake County. He has his own law practice in Wake Forest where he works on behalf of other small businesses, representing them in legal matters and assisting in the creation and development of new businesses. Terence is committed to local growth and served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce.

​Terence attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., where he met his wife, Jennifer. They now live in Wake Forest with their two children, Jack (13) and Juliet (10).

As a Representative, Terence has advocated for fully funding public schools and increasing teacher pay; tax breaks for small businesses; access to health care for all; and a woman’s right to choose. By moving to the Senate, Terence hopes to continue these fights.

SENATE DISTRICT 18

ABOUT SD 18

NC Senate District 18 spans all of Granville County and a portion of northern Wake County. The district is a blend of urban and rural landscapes, encompassing towns like Oxford, Butner and Creedmoor in Granville County and Wake Forest in Wake County.

Granville County, nestled in the northern region of the state, boasts scenic beauty and a strong agricultural heritage. This fast-growing area is home to a diverse population. UNC-Chapel Hill’s “Carolina Across 100” project research indicates that Granville County’s population is 55% White, 30% Black, and 10% Hispanic. The main areas of employment are Health Care and Manufacturing, and NC Demography anticipates that the population in this bustling county will increase by 22% by 2040.

On the other side of NC Senate District 18 lies Wake County – an area thriving with urban dynamism and economic progress. Wake Forest, one of the largest town’s in the Wake portion of this district, is growing quickly as well. As of January, 2023, the population was 54,274, up from 50, 244 - that’s an increase of 7 to 8 people per day!


Whether voters in this district live in Granville County or in Wake, there are several issues that resonate district-wide, including access to quality health care for all, fully-funding public schools, and the effects of increased growth and development on the area.
