Talking one-on-one with voters is the best way to encourage them to vote and to truly convey a candidate’s positions and values. And you’ll meet the candidate you are calling for before every phone bank! On C2C phone banks, you’ll talk with Democrats and left-leaning Unaffiliated voters and ask their opinions about important issues. You can phone bank from the comfort of your own home during hours that suit your schedule. We know it may seem a little intimidating at first, but we promise it gets easy with just a little practice, and it makes such a difference! In fact, phone banking can increase voter turnout by as much as 4%. We provide training on every phone bank, so don’t be afraid to give it a try. Our experienced team will guide you through the process.

When you talk with voters at their doors, you are engaging them, encouraging them to participate in Democracy, and conveying a candidate’s true viewpoints. Voters who talk with a canvasser are up to 10 times more likely to vote! This work is so important — and it’s fun! Come out with a group of other engaged C2C volunteers and give it a try. As with phone banks, we canvass Democrats and left-leaning Unaffilated voters. On most canvasses you’ll have a chance to meet the candidate before you begin talking with voters. Additionally, we have expert canvassers on-site for training at every canvass, and we canvass in pairs so you’re always supported.

Canvassing and phone banking are the most effective voter contact activities you can do! But we also hope you’ll join us when we offer additional activities such as text banking, writing post cards, and fundraising for important projects. Many of these activities can be done from home during hours that suit your schedule. We’re also increasing the number of in-person events we offer around volunteer activities.
